This term in Kinder we have been exploring measurement. We have learnt how to describe items using words such as big, small, long, tall, and short. We have compared the size of items through activities such as finding items in our classroom bigger than our shoe and smaller than our shoe. We have put items in order from shortest to longest and from shortest to tallest. We have started using informal units of measurement (such as blocks and unifix cubes) to measure dinosaurs, our feet, and even ourselves! Here are some photos of us engaged in our learning.
