On Wednesday, 24th September we held a special assembly to farewell the Legendary Mr Christopher Deane.

We’d like to give a huge congratulations (and a big thank you) to Mr. Deane, our hardworking groundsman at Lilydale District School. After years of mowing, fixing, digging, and keeping everything in shape, it’s finally time for him to hang up the shovel, put his feet up, and swap wheelbarrows for quality time with his family and grandchildren. We’re sure he’ll enjoy having more time to watch the Hawks play footy—without having to race off to mow a lawn or fix a fence!
