Principal's Report
A Busy Term 3 and 4 Ahead
Term 3 is already off to a strong start, and the weeks ahead will be full of learning, events, and opportunities for our students. Term 4 will be just as busy, with end-of-year activities, reporting, and celebrations.
We’ll continue to keep you updated through newsletters, Facebook Page, and class communications. Thank you for your ongoing support—it makes a big difference as we work together to help every student have a successful second half of the year.
Thank You for Attending Parent/Teacher Conversations
Thank you to all the families who attended our parent/teacher conversations at the end of last term. These meetings are a great way to strengthen the connection between home and school. They help us to better understand your child’s needs, celebrate their successes, and work together to support their learning.
When schools and families communicate regularly, students are more engaged, confident, and successful in their learning. If you have any feedback regarding our parent/teacher conversations do not hesitate to contact me.
Wearing School Uniforms at Lilydale District School
Uniforms also make it easier for students to get ready each day and help staff easily identify students on excursions or around the school. Most importantly, wearing the uniform shows that we are ready to be safe, respectful, and learning.
Recently I have noticed several students wearing brand named clothing, football club jumpers and inappropriate food wear. It would be great if we could encourage everyone to be wearing our school uniform every day.
Thank you for your support with this.
NAPLAN Individual Student Reports

They show how your child performed compared to other students across Australia and can help you and your child’s teacher identify areas of strength and where support may be needed.
If you have any questions after reading the report, feel free to contact your child’s teacher.
Warm regards,
Karen Hay
