Emily Nixon, a former Lilydale student, visited our Year 11-12 Certificate II in Agriculture class to talk about Rural Youth and what it offers young Tasmanians from 16-30 years of age.  Rural Youth organise AgFest as their main event for the year, they also fund further education and training, run competitions, hold dinners and events state wide.  There is a program that funds a position at a mainland Agriculture College.  Rural Youth is a great way to meet new people, have fun and build your skills and networks.
